Llegará a Morelia la Antorcha Panamericana
MORELIA, Mich., 16 de septiembre de 2011.- La Antorcha de los Juegos Panamericanos de Guadalajara 2011, llega este fin de semana a la ciudad de las Canteras Rosas, en plena fiesta mexicana, conmemorando la Independencia de nuestro país.La lumbre que encenderá y dará la luz de los juegos de América en el mes de octubre tendrá su recorrido este sábado en la capital michoacana en punto de la una de la tarde, teniendo como inicio el Pípila, con dirección a la Avenida Madero, posteriormente se dirigirán a Casa de Gobierno para llegar a la Avenida la Huerta teniendo como punto final el primer cuadro de Morelia para un recorrido total de 18 kilómetros, donde se dará la ceremonia protocolaria del encendido del pebetero, donde estará presente el gobernador de Michoacán, Leonel Godoy Rangel.Cabe destacar la presencia de distintas figuras del deporte michoacano, como Dimas Camilo Cortes de Canotaje, quien logró el campeonato mundial de la especialidad en el 2008, entre otros atletas destacados de Michoacán.
