Invertirán 7 mdp para rehabilitar infraestructura deportiva en Morelia
MORELIA, Mich., 28 de julio de 2016.- Un total de siete millones de pesos de procedencia federal serán invertidos en la edificación de una cancha de básquetbol, la rehabilitación de una instalación preexistente y la conclusión de una barda perimetral en la unidad deportiva Wenceslao Victoria Soto.
De acuerdo con Alfonso Martínez Alcázar, presidente municipal de Morelia, el crecimiento y la mejora de la infraestructura deportiva es fundamental para la ciudad, ya que no solo se beneficia la comunidad que practica de forma regular algún deporte, sino que se crean espacios de esparcimiento, activación física y convivencia familiar y social que contribuyen a mejorar la calidad de vida de la población.
Aseveró que los recursos, resultado de una gestión ante la Federación por parte de una organización social, serán aplicados por el municipio con cuidado de la calidad de los trabajos y con el compromiso de verificar la funcionalidad de los productos y la culminación de los compromisos, a fin de evitar que, como ha sido el caso del auditorio de la unidad deportiva Wenceslao Victoria Soto, queden proyectos sin concluir.
Asimismo, el munícipe señaló que en breve retomará la administración local la construcción del citado auditorio, una vez que se concreten los mecanismos para el flujo de los recursos federales que se vio interrumpido cuando Rhymsa, la empresa que en su momento logró la adjudicación de la instalación, le abandonó sin terminar y en condiciones que no permiten su uso.
