Regidor panista de Apatzingán corre riesgo extremo: Miguel Chávez
MORELIA, Mich., 1 de abril de 2014.- El regidor del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) en Apatzingán, Martín Gómez, corre un riesgo extremo tras los señalamientos públicos y directos que hizo contra el presidente municipal, Uriel Chávez, aseguró el presidente del Comité Directivo Estatal del PAN, Miguel Ángel Chávez Zavala.
En entrevista, el líder panista reconoció la valentía del regidor al denunciar los presuntos vínculos del presidente municipal con un grupo del crimen organizado que opera en la región, por lo que consideró que las autoridades de seguridad y procuración de justicia, deben atender con prontitud la situación que prevalece en el ayuntamiento de Apatzingán, de la misma manera como ya entregó un avance de resultados ante el asesinato del edil de Tanhuato, Gustavo Garibay.
Chávez Zavala, señaló que el regidor Martín Godoy ya hizo la denuncia oficial ante las autoridades sobre el presunto vínculo del presidente municipal con los Caballeros Templarios, por lo que hasta el momento se convierte en una más de las acumuladas por las autoridades que están pendiente de ser respondidas.
Agregó que no sólo el regidor panista ha hecho tales acusaciones, sino también el párroco de la región, líderes autodefensas y otros actores políticos, por lo que insistió en la preocupación de que hasta el momento las autoridades no le den seguimiento y no han hecho ningún pronunciamiento al respecto.
Asimismo consideró que para generar un ambiente de confianza entre la ciudadanía hacia las autoridades, deben atenderse todas las demandas de la población y garantizar la seguridad para los denunciantes.
En este sentido, el líder panista añadió que es necesario que se revisen los protocolos de seguridad, ya que como en el caso de Apatzingán, así como los presidentes municipales corren riesgos, también hay otros integrantes del Cabildo que están atemorizados y han sido amenazados.
Por tal motivo, confió en que las autoridades pongan atención al tema y valoren los criterios para asignar protección a las personas que enfrentan un importante nivel de riesgo.
Finalmente, Miguel Ángel Chávez señaló que hasta el momento el regidor Martín Gómez no le ha solicitado su intervención para obtener seguridad personal, pero puntualizó que en caso de requerirlo se acudirá ante las instancias para realizar el trámite oficial.
